‘Tis the season for hot chocolate, Christmas trees, fire places, and snow! Christmas is just a few weeks away which means it’s time to start decorating your cubicle. Bring holiday cheer to your ordinary cubicle this season with some of our tips!

Christmas Gingerbread House

Although this gingerbread house won’t be edible like the one you make at home (unless you want it to be), it’s just as fun! This is a simple yet excellent idea. All you need is brown construction paper, white felt or big cotton balls, tape, and decorations of your choice! Some decorations we recommend are candy canes, lollipops, ornaments, snowflakes, lights, and a mailbox. Don’t forget to draw a window on the outside of your cubicle.

Whoville Cubicle

Don’t be the Grinch! Turn your office into Whoville and dress the part too. To start, have a pink sign that says “Welcome to Who-ville”. This sign can be made out of construction paper or even a big piece of felt. Place a real or fake Christmas tree in the middle of the office with presents under it. If you are having an office pollyanna, this is the perfect area to put gifts, if not just put boxes decorated in wrapping paper under the tree. Each cubicle could be a different color tailored to the houses in Who-Ville with Christmas decorations. On the outside of each cubicle, you could have cutouts of Who-Ville characters holding hands. You can’t forget about the Grinch. Have someone either dress up as him or have a blow up or construction paper figure.

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow

Winter Wonderland

Make your cubicle into a winter wonderland! What’s a winter without snow? If you like to DIY, cut out snowflakes in a variety of shapes and sizes. If not, you could go to the store and buy pre-cut snowflakes and hang them from the ceiling or attach them to the outside of your cubicle. For a snowy effect on your desk, grab a bunch of bundled cotton and spread it out. Decorate the outside of your cubicle with blue wrapping paper and attach snowflakes and cotton onit. Add Frosty The Snowman for a nice “warm” touch!

Stay Cozy by the Fireplace this Winter

Fireplace
Don’t like the cold? Stay warm by the fireplace at your desk! Okay, well maybe not a real fireplace, but you can add a heater for effect. For this idea, you will need brick wallpaper to place all around your cubicle. To make the fire area, get a different color wrapping paper (for example: dark red, brown, or white) to outline the fire place. To create the actual fire, all you need is black, yellow, and orange construction paper for the fire and the background. To add more of a holiday touch, attach a real (or fake) wreath above and add stockings along the outline of the fire place.

Buddy the Elf Cubicle Buddy the Elf Christmas Cubicles

“Santa! Oh,my God! Santa’s coming! I know him! I know him!”. Lets admit it, Elf is one of those movies that you watch over and over again until Christmas (or maybe longer.) Why not bring the fun to your office? Each cubicle could have a different scene. For example, one cubicle could be decorated as the Candy Cane forest that Buddy refers to with “the sea of swirly twirly gum drops, and the Lincoln Tunnel.” Don’t forget that your candy has to have syrup ontop! Another cubicle could be decorated like Gimbel’s after Buddy decided to go all out with the decorations and Gimbel’s Manager was not too pleased. For this look you will definetly need paper chains, candy canes, Christmas lights, bows and of course your voice to spread Christmas cheer! You can’t forget about the North Pole where Buddy came from. You can go with the Toy Shop cubicle or you could just add some cotton for the snow, snow flakes, a Christmas tree, some of the animals, and Santa and your cubicle will be complete!

Wrap Your CubicleChristmas Wrapping

Gifts aren’t the only thing being wrapped this holiday season. Wrap your cubicle in wrapping paper with different Christmas designs such as raindeer, snowmen, snowflakes, Christmas trees or keep it simple and use red or green! Don’t forget to wrap your gift with a bow.

If you have any ideas that we haven’t listed above, please share with us. We would love to see photos of your decorated cubicles on our Facebook page! Happy Holidays!
